Before and After: The Baby Harmon's Cocoa Table

First they are the baby Harmon's because they have a baby: (check out the picture on the mantel.  It is the picture I made them)

and there are so many of us Harmon's we have to be to know who we are referencing. :)  Second, when Jake was little he asked why we called our coffee table...well a coffee table.  We don't drink coffee, so at the tender age of 3 he decided it should be the cocoa table and it has been ever since!

Jake and I went and hung out with Erin and Jaxson the other day.  When we go there, their cocoa table looked like this:

Months before Erin had started sanding it and this is as far as she got.  I don't blame her. Sanding is not fun...

After painting, laughing, destressing while distressing, and a little of this:

We ended with a cocoa table that looked like this:

I am in love with this cocoa table...and color...and rug...

Okay, so I may have gotten a little carried away with the picture taking but I can't help myself...also I am a little obsessed with her A-MA-ZING rug!  I may be a little jealous of it.  I am also a little jealous because I am waiting for a home to put my cocoa table in so I can paint it this color...You are right if you guessed this is Annie Sloan paint in my FAVORITE shade of Duck Egg Blue.  Do you have anything that you could like painted in Duck Egg Blue?  If so contact me and we can bond over some fun distressing.

Carrie, you need to set up an Etsy shop. (or something similar) then set up a link on this blog, and your other one so people can see your close ups and stuff.

I think you would sell more that way. :) Just a thought...
